Lots of play therapists and child psychotherapy professionals have a single playroom for their practice. It’s not often we can design a Virtual Therapy Suite, that would be amazing in real life, but also as a virtual space where we can ‘meet’ our clients online, now that many of us are practicing using telehealth and online therapy. Each area is dedicated to different therapy interventions, eg. sand play, music, art, imagination, online games, body awareness and self-regulation and incorporates indoor play, outdoor play and a tree-house. I’m taking the playroom beyond the walls and making use of outdoor spaces where we can have play therapy, as well as bringing the outdoors inside with my tree-house. It’s all about immersive activities, playfulness and imagination. My online clients love it - Enjoy!
